Join tobacco control programs around the country who are joining together to call on these studios to stop promoting smoking and to stop doing Big Tobacco’s dirty work by voluntarily eliminating smoking from G, PG, and PG-13 movies. These studios have the power and ability to do this. Disney is doing it! Their action will send a clear message to the Motion Picture Association of America that there should be no smoking in youth rated movies. Work together to accomplish the mission:

  • Increase awareness among young people, community, leaders and the entertainment industry regarding the real impact of tobacco promotion in G, PG and PG-13 movies.
  • Decrease social acceptability of tobacco use and tobacco product placement in G, PG and PG-13 movies
  • Mobilize tobacco control programs in other states and counties to oppose tobacco promotion in G, PG and PG-13 movies
